Gave OVB teams a shared view of sales performance.
OVB Allfinanz Slovakia is a financial advisory business with a distributed network of sales teams. Advisors need to understand their own performance. Team leaders and headquarters need a consistent view of the wider business.
We built Moja Firma, meaning “My Company”, as a custom internal reporting platform to bring those views together. It connects information from multiple sources and presents it through interactive dashboards, so people can review performance without piecing the picture together themselves.
20% less time on repetitive tasks.
OVB reported a 20% time saving on repetitive tasks. Moja Firma also recorded 140,000 monthly page views. Teams gained a shared place to review performance, while leadership could compare results using a more consistent foundation.
Replaced conflicting reports with a common view of the business.
Before Moja Firma, teams used a mixture of spreadsheets, free tools and manual records. Headquarters lacked consistent visibility across the organisation, making management and forecasting difficult.
A new dashboard alone would not fix that. Years of information were spread across different sources, with missing records, incompatible structures and inconsistent calculations. Even the meaning of a familiar business term could differ between stakeholders.
The application also had to earn people’s trust. Teams were comfortable with their own methods and had different levels of confidence with software. If the numbers were unclear or the system was slow, returning to the old tools would be an easy choice.
Made individual and team performance visible in one place.
OVB provided the initial design proposals and functional requirements. We built the interface, the processing behind the reports, and the data connections needed to make those designs useful. The platform brings together:
- Sales performance dashboards. A shared way for advisors, team leaders and headquarters to review the business.
- Interactive reporting widgets. Views that turn large volumes of sales and financial data into information people can work with.
- Team and individual reporting. Different perspectives within the same platform, built around OVB’s organisational structure.
- Connected data sources. Information cleaned and combined before it reaches the reports.
- Consistent calculations. Agreed definitions and corrected processing to make comparisons more dependable.

Made performance comparisons more dependable.
The existing data structures had limited documentation. We mapped the sources and their relationships through workshops, investigation and reverse engineering. Reviewing the old processing scripts also revealed errors in both the code and the business logic.
For each reporting requirement, we had to establish a shared definition before deciding how to calculate it. Otherwise, two technically correct reports could still answer different questions. Regular sessions with OVB helped resolve these issues one at a time.
Once the definitions and sources were understood, we cleaned, adjusted and combined the data. This was the less visible part of building a sales performance dashboard, but it determined whether people could rely on what they saw.

Kept reports responsive as the data grows.
Moja Firma had to work with hundreds of thousands of records. As more functionality was added, performance declined. We reworked parts of the application’s data processing to make it more efficient and keep reporting responsive.
The project also exposed how much delivery could depend on undocumented knowledge. We strengthened the documentation and contingency planning alongside the technical work, making the application easier to support as the team and requirements changed.
These changes mattered for adoption. A reporting platform needs to be dependable in everyday use, especially when people already have a familiar alternative. Clear information and practical performance were both part of making the new system worth using.
Gave advisors and leadership the same basis for decisions.
Moja Firma reduced the effort of assembling reports and gave OVB a common basis for discussing performance. Advisors and leadership could use the same platform instead of maintaining separate views of the business.
For a business considering similar software, the first question is whether its teams agree on the figures they need and what those figures mean. Resolving that early gives the dashboard a much stronger foundation.
