OVB is a financial advisory business. We built ZKD, OVB’s basic client document, to bring client details, identity checks, consents, and signing into one guided onboarding process.
With 5,000+ documents created each month, it helps advisors complete the required first steps with every client. Less repeated paperwork, with a clearer foundation for compliant client work.

The legacy process was disconnected from OVB’s newer systems and no longer collected all the required information. Different customer types added more complexity.
We built a modular flow that adapts to individuals, households, and companies. Advisors follow a consistent process while the application handles the information and relationships each case needs.

Customers may already exist in the system, belong to a household, or act on someone else’s behalf. The process needs to recognise those relationships.
ZKD connects with Aero and Multiprotokol to reuse available information. We also handled missing and expired records, so advisors have a clear path through the exceptions as well as the everyday cases.

ZKD stands for základný klientsky dokument, or basic client document. It is an important first milestone in OVB’s client relationship, bringing identity details, consents, and anti-money laundering checks into the start of the process.
We adapted the AML functionality from Multiprotokol to these onboarding scenarios. Guided steps help advisors collect the required information and establish a foundation for compliant client work, protecting both the advisor and OVB from missed requirements.

We organised the work around three onboarding flows: individuals, households, and companies. Each needed its own rules, while sharing the same client records and checks.
Starting from OVB’s design direction, we mapped the existing data, adapted the AML functionality from Multiprotokol, and built the connected application. Missing records, expired documents, and representatives were handled within the same flow.

At the end of onboarding, ZKD generates the client document for electronic signing. The information collected along the way becomes a usable record, without assembling it again by hand.
Connecting the final document to the wider OVB ecosystem reduces duplication and gives the next person a consistent starting point.
OVB creates an average of 5,000+ basic client documents each month through ZKD. The platform gives 2,000 monthly active users one guided process for individuals, households, and companies.
Advisors spend less time repeating paperwork and have a clearer path through the required first steps. For OVB, consistent checks and records help protect the business from the start of each client relationship.
