Black Control Box serves a forklift distributor that needed a clearer view of its machines and maintenance work. We built BCB Cloud, integrating custom hardware with service planning, technician tasks, and digital records.
The team can now monitor usage remotely, plan service around actual operating hours, and keep everyone working from the same information.
BCB Cloud brings machines, service tasks, and records into one workspace. Usage drives the schedule, giving the service team a shared picture of the work ahead.
The platform was also built for licensing. Its modular structure gives the client a foundation for offering connected maintenance to other businesses, with services that can adapt to each customer.

Operating hours were checked by hand, so the service team struggled to know which machines were due for maintenance. Late checks increased the risk of missed service intervals.
Working with the hardware partner, we connected machine readings to a shared map. Managers can now see usage, location, and service status remotely, with the detail behind each machine close at hand.

Work was spread across Google Tasks, WhatsApp, and accounting software. Important details lived with one person, making handovers difficult.
BCB Cloud creates tasks from service intervals and brings assignments, progress, and technician routes together. The service manager can organise the day while technicians follow a clear itinerary.

Paper service records were easy to lose and hard to keep current. We connected machine readings, warnings, tasks, and service history in one digital record.
The team can see the context before planning the next job. Device data is stored during signal loss and sent when the connection returns, so gaps in coverage don’t mean starting over.

We tested the connection between custom hardware and the platform while mapping the service team’s daily work. Together with the client, we prioritised a first version people could use from day one.
Regular reviews kept hardware, sales, and service priorities aligned. Alongside development, we created onboarding materials, partner presentations, and launch videos to help bring the product to market.
